Thank you, oversampling solved the issue. I exclusively use peak filters because shelf Q settings are inconsistent between EQ programs (pulseeffects and APO) - peak seems to be standard though. Some headphones have 10-14K spikes which really bother me.

Thanks for the help, switching the gain worked. As for the other question I had, I only use the log graph. It seems high frequency filters get distorted, as shown in the screenshots here. The filters are identical in gain and Q, only frequency is different. I'm wondering if that could be the reason ...

I'm not sure if it's UI related or something else, but when I set a PEQ filter's gain to 10, it will show as 12 in the overall frequency response graph on the main screen as opposed to correct amplitude of 10 on the graph of the filter screen.
