Afaik there is no "mode" for the Neutron app's GUI.

No, this mode is controlled by the Samsung system not neutron. The question is more how neutron looks and operate under Dex.

So the external hdd is not added by the add option but through the scan option (specify location).Right?

Thnx for your contribution concerning this matter, i will check it out and see if i can add manually the external hdd music files folders, from its parent folder.

I am using Samsung Galaxy Tab S6, a WD external hhd which is mounted by a app called Microsoft exFAT/NTFS for USB by Paragon Software (from Google Play store) with a Acer hub in between.
It works fine with Power Amp (also from Google Play store).

I got a problem with adding the main music folder from a external hdd to the app's library. The main folder is shown but the containing music folders with it's files are not shown nor loaded. This is a big collection though, but adding 1 music folder from my external hdd with it's files didn't work ...
