Indeed Neutron's spectral analyser behaves like this. Although it could be improved heavily by a few small changes, the developer- who is aware of it - most probably did not find the time or has put it low on his priority list.

Which iOS version?

Same under iOS. Neutron needs the Apple Music Player to initialise Bluetooth somehow, then mostly my car radio will show song title and album. Otherwise not.

Are you talking Android or iOS? Under iOS I see that indeed Neutron is missing in the settings for mobile connections. There you can switch off downloading data for all apps separately. I have many apps in there, but Neutron is missing.
