Re: [INVESTIGATING] Wont detect music when scanning on PB

Just downloaded 1.69.2 update (3/21/13).
Finally got ALL of my music to scan.
Thanks for your persistence in fixing this.

Re: [INVESTIGATING] Wont detect music when scanning on PB

I sent you the file, and then I took another look at the directories. There are two album folders under the artist name (which is Mexicans with Guns). There is one folder with a short name that shows up in the Windows Explorer is MXMZQE~U, and there is another one called Gusto, which I must have cre...

Re: [INVESTIGATING] Wont detect music when scanning on PB

I am glad that the new version is finally posted, but as I feared it has not fixed the problem with scanning music files on my PlayBook. If I scan an individual artists' folder it works fine (usually), but if I scan the whole Music folder it churns for about two minutes and then returns "Error: Zero...

Re: Version 1.68 PlayBook UI bug

I agree. I am very concerned that we are going to wait another week for Blackberry to post the update and then we'll have to wait two weeks again if the library scan bug is not resolved.
Can we please get a sideload version?

Re: Version 1.68 PlayBook UI bug

The only good thing I can say is that at least if I leave the player in shuffle mode I can play music so I'm not without the player altogether.

My big concern is that we will wait a week for this display fix and not know whether or not the scan bug has been resolved.

Re: Neutron wont detect music when scanning on PB

Has anyone tried the 1.68 on a PlayBook? It does not seem to correctly recognize the screen size.

Re: [INVESTIGATING] neutron not scanning music correctly

Dmitri,

Can you give AppWorld a nudge? It's been almost a week and they are still showing 1.67.

Thanks.

Re: Neutron wont detect music when scanning on PB

Thanks for the info. By the way, I am using iTunes Sync to update the music on the PlayBook, and it is creating those odd directory names. I am wondering whether the other users that have had this issue are also using iTunes Sync.

Re: Neutron wont detect music when scanning on PB

I am having the same problem with the scan. Even after re-initializing the PlayBook, it comes up empty-handed after scanning for a few minutes. I am convinced that the scan is tripping over a bad file or directory somewhere, because if I pick a lower-level directory manually for scanning it works pe...
