Firmware 47 [09.2024]

Release Notes:

Code: Select all

* Support for configurable Deep Sleep mode (requires NConfigurator v.1.6.5).
* Support for selection/limit of DAC and Mic frequencies (requires NConfigurator v.1.6.5).
* Enabled THD correction for 600 Ohm load by default (if device is reset to factory settings).

Note:

Update NConfigurator to 1.6.5 to use new functionality of Firmware 47+: viewtopic.php?f=11&t=7216&sid=4e08b5a9f ... aae607e598

Update procedure for devices with Firmware 46 or lower:

• Start NConfigurator app (see Downloads: https://neutronhifi.com/devices/dac/v1/details)
• Navigate to Firmware tab
• Click [Check For Update] button to fetch update details
• Click [Update] to start firmware update procedure
• Wait until device is updated (it shows progress on the OLED display)
• Once device restarts self the update procedure is completed

Hi there.

I updated to 47 and now my dac will play for 5 seconds and cuts off.

This happens with headhphones, plugged in speaker and also iPhone, android phone and Macbook pro.

Is there some way to roll back firmware or reset the device?

Strange - stable for me. Firmware can be easily downgraded to 46 with a tool, I will provide it to you for a check by e-mail. You can also do factory reset from NConfigurator -> Tools -> Factory Reset.
