Album name not compliant with Metadata

Post by Craiko » Sun May 19, 2024 2:37 pm

Hello everyone :)

I imported flac files on my phone. Before that, I had edited metadata for a bunch of albums (Cover art, song and album names etc...).

When I imported them all in Neutron Player all went as expected, except for one album. This album still has the original title from before I edited it on my PC. I couldn't even delete it from within neutron. I tried a bunch of things like deleting the files from my phone then re-importing them from my PC and even re-installing neutron, but the old title is still here, despite the metadata being the new title I gave it.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks :)

For Settings relevant to album definition see "Settings > Media Library" :

If need be provide a test file.

That's rather vague, I did peruse the settings but couldn't fix it. And how do I make a test file ?

You take one of the files that show up with a different album name from what you expected, store it in the cloud, and post a publicly accessible link to that file. Users can then download it, put it into one of their sources, scan it and see whether they can reproduce what you see on your Neutron app.
