Audio streaming issue

Does anyone have any issue with basic network audio streaming from Windows 8.1 to Neutron music player on Android? In my case, I'm streaming from Windows 8.1 > Network sharing (my music folder) > Neutron (Kitkat 4.4.4 / Galaxy S3) via ES Explorer. Thing is, it plays from time to time but other times it just gives a 'Failed' message or it cuts off while playing. I would have thought it was an issue with my configuration but the default Samsung Music Player and ES Explorer's own internal music player plays the audio streams just fine.

Help?
