NEON Optimization for other codecs

I was wondering if the NEON optimization is available for all playable codecs. My music is all in Opus codec.
If Opus is not NEON-optimized, then what codec should I use to take advantage of NEON?

Also... I can live with this, but can the "momentum" flick scrolling be made any more natural?

Finally, I don't really dislike it, but the UI seems inappropriate-looking for an Android app. Any plans for a makeover?
