Resampling question

So for a phone which already supports hi-res via USB, when "Follow Source Frequency", I should get signal without resampling, right? (My phone is Huawei P20 Pro)

As I understand it if you have enabled direct USB access and the external USB DAC supports the sampling rate that the music is encoded with and you havn't activated oversampling, yes.

Direct UAB Access stops when the phone is idle.

I'd check the os for any optimization, power saving options etc with regard to Neutron ( or which are generally active and might suspend any app when phone is idle ).
