[TIP] Hi-Res Audio for Android devices
Re: [TIP] Hi-Res Audio for Android devices
Hi, I answer my previous post.
I got to get dsp compress offload working again by using stock Xiaomi rom. It seems a custom rom needs customised Qualcomm av framework sources confugured to enable internal dsp. As it is difficult to merge on AOSP roms because it would break compatibility for other devices since it's common code it is not usually implemented.

Hi,
Neutron Player on my Shanling M3X outputs just 24 bits instead of 32 bits.
Audio Hardware:
-------------------
DRV: Line-out(AudioTrack) [DAP]
Bits: 64 (out: 24 int)
Could you please update your database to allow Neutron Player to deliver 32 bits (instead of 24 bits) to the Shanling M3X internal DACs?
Best regards.

Thanks for the tips!
Re: [TIP] Hi-Res Audio for Android devices
The latest release should have solved the 32-bit Int format issue for Shanling DAPs.
But when I activate 64-bit processing, I don't have any sound at all.
I see 32-bit out now, but no sound.
I tried the latest release on my Shanling M3X and the last Neutron release didn't fix this issue.

Hi Hi, is this the right process to report a problem ? Should I email or post it here ?
Re: [TIP] Hi-Res Audio for Android devices
That is the way to directly inform the developer. I suggest you first try here, maybe a user can help.ongbenghui wrote: ↑Tue Feb 28, 2023 9:25 amHi Hi, is this the right process to report a problem ? Should I email or post it here ?

Hello,
My phone is Galaxy S23 Ultra and Android 13.
Fiio BTR7 is connected to my phone via bluetooth LDAC connection and LDAC playback quality is 990kbps/909kbps.
In the screenshot file I added, I do not have the options marked in the Generic Driver section. How can I get the marked ones there?
Can you help me what should I do to solve the problem? Thanks.

The screenshot shows the device with the "problem" ? Which is that the high-res isn't activated for the speakers ? What happens when you press the button to activate ?dogan.oz wrote: ↑Sun Mar 19, 2023 8:03 pmHello,

There are only available Custom Format, others not in the Generic Driver section, but only Custom Driver is there.
