Reading problem on DAC
Reading problem on DAC
Hello,
On the advice of audiophile friends, I decided to use neutron player on Ipad and Android but it is currently impossible for me to play music to send it for playback on my DAC M1 clic from Musical Fidelity. Whether it's using music on the device or through my UPNP dlna server, I always get the same message that appears on the M1 click "Track not found". Let me tell you that using my old BubbleUPNP or 8 player pro applications, I don't have any reading problems. Can you help me solve this problem.

Re: Reading problem on DAC
How do you want to connect the devices ? Via DLNA ? With Neutron as Player, the input streamed from a server, the output streamed to the M1 clic ?
Re: Reading problem on DAC
Absolutely, Neutron source = UPNP server output M1 Click
I tested:
1) Neutron source = UPNP DLNA, M1 click output does not work
2) Neutron source = Network sharing of a music folder Output M1 Click does not work
3) Neutron source = Device music (Ipad or Android) M1 click output does not work
Same message on the M1 Click "Track not found"

Re: Reading problem on DAC
So you use the M1 Click as a server, Neutron as a Player, and the server says "track not found" ? Well, that seems to be a server problem. I suggest you ask the server support.
Re: Reading problem on DAC
Or do you mean you use the M1 Click as output device ? How do you connect Neutron on the mobile device with the M1 Click ?
Re: Reading problem on DAC
Thank you for your answer but I may have expressed myself badly, The architecture is as follows:
1 router which is also a UPNP DLNA multimedia server
1 DAC M1 Click
1 Ipad and 1 Android with Neutron installed
On Neutron, the library is supplied by the UPNP server as a source and the library is well informed.
If I listen to music from this library from neutron on the device (Ipad or Android) no problem. If I want to use the M1 Click as output, this is when I have the message on the M1 Click "Track not found".
As I said in my first post, if I do the same from the BubbleUPNP and 8 Player Pro applications also configured with the UPNP server as source, it works without problems.

Re: Reading problem on DAC
Neutron is connected to the M1 Clic via the local network.
Neutron on Android or Ipad, the router that hosts the UPNP Dlna multimedia server and the M1 clic are on the same local network.
Re: Reading problem on DAC
Does the problem still persist ?
