[SOLVED??] Initial SMB scan works, subsequent refresh does not
Re: Initial SMB scan works, subsequent refresh does not
The last time I contacted Dmitry about this was after an upgrade to the app back in March, he told me:
"There were 0 changes in SMB code, just minor correction to access SMB
via VPN endpoint but it does not affect any serious SMB code. Test
devices behave ok, SMB is accessed ok, no other similar reports."

Re: Initial SMB scan works, subsequent refresh does not
Well, then I'd definitely try the split-the-big-source-approach
Re: Initial SMB scan works, subsequent refresh does not
1st screen shot was immediately after the initial scan had completed. I then tapped the X to escape that screen and was presented with the Playlists, Artists, Albums, etc list. All the numbers there match my tablet exactly.
I then tapped Folders and was met with the listing of the folders on the music server. (That screen shot didn't save) I did not navigate further.
I tapped < then tapped Sources and was met with the greyed out MP3S folder.
I then tapped < and poof! All the info is gone.
Tapped refresh to the right of Sources and get 2-3 seconds of flashing yellow, then nothing.
Final screenshot is a tap on Sources, then a long press on the greyed out MP3S then Edit. It's still pointed to the correct folder, it just doesn't work.
If I try to scan again, nothing happens and the server shows no active SMB sessions.

No, it doesn't. But sometimes it is helpful to try things. Especially if you don't know what else to do.

New "symptom".. Occasionally when I start Neutron, I can tap "back" (Whatever the icon in the upper right corner is when Neutron first starts) and can see all my music listed just for a second - and then it's gone.
Again, is there a log file I can view to see what's going on?
Tablet is still working fine and ran for almost 6 straight hours yesterday.

As to the button : You've invoked the tracklist. Then Neutron seems to think your source had vanished, changed, been deactivated or whatever and removes the ( obsolete, as it thinks ) content. For logging purposes please contact neutronmp@gmail.com .
Re: Initial SMB scan works, subsequent refresh does not
One more question before I pester Dmitry.. Is it possible to change the login details of an SMB source without deleting said source and recreating it?
Re: Initial SMB scan works, subsequent refresh does not
No idea ... you'll have to try it.
