and finally the working playlists in Neutron on all devices

rooted

not rooted

Don't get confused because in the Saga playlist file is a track Cat Walk and in the Neutron Playlist its gone. Deleted it test-wise in Neutron after the screenshot of the playlist file. It kept coming back after deleting it. Had to delete it 3 times. Something is really weird here. Still everything works just fine after I edit the playlists with the full path.

And one more info - my playlists are only on the external card. Once created in Neutron I rename and move them there. Works perfectly. And it doesn't matter if I select the whole ext. SD Card or just the Music and Playlists directory.

ok Screenshot time :-)

source directory in the rooted devices
Source in Media Library 01 S4Mini.png

source directory in the non-rooted device
Source in Media Library 02 TabS4.jpg
I didn't mean the source directories of the devices, but the sources of the neutron instances, as here :

sources.PNG
sources.PNG (31.2 KiB) Viewed 1719 times
The point being that if the playlist contains relative entries
#EXTM3U
#EXTINF:879, Miles Davis Quintet - On Green Dolphin Street (Live from Olympia Theatre, Paris) (feat. Wynton Kelly & Paul Chambers)
#EXTALB:The Final Tour - 1 - Olympia Theatre, Paris
Musik/Miles Davis/The Final Tour/Miles Davis Quintet - On Green Dolphin Street (Live from Olympia Theatre, Paris) (feat. Wynton Kelly & Paul Chambers).mp3
then it refers to Source entries, in this case "Musik", and this Source has to exist. If you give different names to the Sources in the different Neutron instances then that might explain the problems. Perhaps Poweramp playlists on the same device use absolute pathnames and that's the reason it work that way.

Unfortunately Neutron mistakenly interprets leading # of the path as erroneous path. It will be fixed in the next update, thank you for raising this issue!
