Music stops playing after screen turns off

I'm using the latest version of Neutron & noticed that music will stop playing a few seconds after the screen turns off. When I turn it back on, the music resumes. Is there anyway to remedy that? Never had that happen before.

That might be an inadequate setting in Settings > Connection And Controls, I suggest you reset to defaults there. The more likely culprit though is the os : put Neutron on the list of apps that won't be stopped/optimized/put into sleep etc and/or remove it from lists that would allow the os to stop Neutron.
