Player plays tracks only by one search term (artist or composer)

Post by lendall » Thu Jan 14, 2021 7:49 pm

Neutron Player on my Android plays only tracks by one composer. I may have entered this name once as a search term, but now only tracks by this search term (BOULEZ) are played. What can I do to get Neutron Player to play my entire playlist shuffled, meaning not in alphabetical or chronological order? Thank you for any assistance you may be able to provide.

If this is about your complete library : if you do a complete rescan ( not only a refesh ) of your sources and then enter the library and have a look at artists, albums, songs - what do you see ? Are the numbers of items contained in these lists plausible ?
If this is about one specific playlist : check its contents
If this is about shuffling : check Settings > Playback > Shuffle Mode and Settings > User Interface > Playing Now > Shuffle Moe

Thank you. I believe this is working. However: Under Settings > Playback is see only Shuffle Mode. If I click Shuffle Mode there are no further options under it.

Yes, you can switch shuffle mode on or off, nothing else can be selected. If you activate Settings > User Interface > Playing Now > Shuffle Mode then you'll have a button on the playing now screen to control the Shuffle mode.
