In Neutron you can play streams, and there's a huge collection of proposals to choose from. First make sure that "Settings > User Interface > Optional Features > Network" is activated. If you would like to have a button for streaming on the top panel you can configure that in "Settings > User Interface > Panel: Top".
Open it from the library or from the top panel.
You'll see all configured streams and entry points for internet radio.
Let's add a stream, e.g. BBC Radio 6. Obtain the streaming url, press the "+" button
Edit-buttons in Neutron are the ones with the horizontal list of three dots. Press the one to the right of "Address".
Type the address ( Neutron's editor doesn't sport a cursor, so just start typing ) or copy the address and paste it with the left button.
Add a name and a description if you like and confirm.
A long press on the new entry lets you edit it.
A short tap will start it.

Re: Streaming and Internet Radio
As far as we're concerned here Icecast and Shoutcast are lists of internet radio stations. Select one, Neutron will scan it for some time
And eventually present the results.
Drill down, look around, find a station, a short tap will start it, with a long press you can add it to the streams, to a playlist or the queue.
