Pixel 3 XL USB c adaptor and wavelet

when I'm connected with Bluetooth headphones, the option for DSP under audio hardware is there and I can select my headphone model in wavelet auto eq.

When I'm connected via cable requiring the use of a USB c to 3.5mm adaptor DSP is no longer an option under audio hardware and I cannot use wavelet.

You mean the "FRC" button for the frequency response correction ? You've bound a preset to a device ? That can only ever work if Neutron knows which device is attached, and afaik this information isn't available for wired headphones, so this doesn't work. But you can switch on FRC manually. The button shouldn't vanish and the effect can be activated by a short tap on the button. Or via Settings > Playback > DSP Effect > Frequency Response Correction .

... and should the button vanish when you change the headphones then you probably have bound the profile and not the preset ...
