Android Auto says NMP is not available...

For a few weeks I have a huge problem with NMP
When my phone is connected to AA the first time everything works well. When I stop the engine and pull out the key but leave my phone connected, I can't start NMP through AA after pulling the key again.
VLC is not affected. It's able to operate any time.
I CAN start NMP with my phone and the sound is heard over the car PA. But AA still shows the error message.

It seems to work, when the engine is out for a longer time. But a few weeks ago this problem didn't occur at all.

Could it depend on an update of AA or NMP?

I suggest you ask neutronmp@gmail.com for an older version of NMP ( and/or a version with more logging enabled ) and try it out with that.

I think the latest update I get was from AA not from NMP
But it's worth a try

The Neutron apk that you download via the official channels doesn't write log files. But sometimes they are needed to analyze strange behaviour. So given that he deems it helpful the developer can give you a Neutron apk that does write log files.
"more logging enabled" = "das schreiben von protokolldateien ist eingeschaltet"

I have the same problem.
Since a few weeks an error message in AA.
Alternative players (VLC, Rocket) work.
Downgrade from AA is unfortunately not possible.

Neutron can be launched outside of AA on the smartphone,
but operation is then not possible.

Disable generic drivers tested without success,
also on 3 smartphones.

After it worked for a while, the same problem occurred again. On a brand-new phone with Android 11 (Nokia X20).
Luckily I can control Neutron with my phone.
But this behavior is not acceptable.
I hope for a stable fix of the app.

When I opened the AA app to configure the launcher I realized, that NMP wasn't listed anymore.
It also doesn't appear in the list of supported apps, that can be selected in the menu.
Does anybody know what happened?
