EQ in Neutron is self contained, not applicable for modifying any other app's audio stream like wavelet or Poweramp EQ.

Yes, it does. Within the limits set by the operating system and, from Android 11 on, the Storage Access Framework .

As said before, you can't use Neutron for digital signal processing of data from streaming services.

This applies especially to the equalizer and the frequency response correction with its AutoEQ profiles: you can use Neutron to access a stream once you've got a link, you can't use it to stream music from streaming services.

Could you please elaborate on your question ? As said before, Neutron doesn't need root privileges to work as it is supposed to. And of course the limits set by the operating system to any app also apply to Neutron. Neutron is a Music Player, not a Stream Grabber.

Neutron should play a link to Internet radio streams, Icecast, Shoutcast. For other links I suggest you try them out.

If you've bought via Google play store I suggest you try ARM64 Google Play original. Or, still easier, download via the Google play store.
