Track name and/or artwork on lock screen is often wrong
My phone is a Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra with Android version 12.
While using Neutron, if I bring up the lock screen, most of the time, the track that the lock screen shows is playing will be the previous track that was playing immediately before. Sometimes it will be correct, but it usually isn't. Other times it will be an interesting combination such as the correct track name/artist, but the artwork will be that of the previous track.
Thank you for your help.

Could you try whether it make a difference if "Settings > User Interface > Lock Screen > Player UI" or "Settings > Service" are activated, and whether the standby options for the Neutron app in Android's device maintenance affect this ?

Unfortunately the first two suggestions didn't fix the issue. I can't figure out how to change standby options for the app either.

Then I suggest you ask in the Samsung forum for S22. On my S9 ( Android 10 ) there is a "device maintenance" where I can tell the os which apps not to transfer into standby mode.andmaythefranchise wrote: ↑Fri Sep 02, 2022 11:43 amI can't figure out how to change standby options for the app either.

I managed to find standby apps by enabling developer tools. Neutron Player is listed as "EXEMPTED" and is grayed out. Poweramp (which doesn't have this issue) is listed as "ACTIVE" for comparison. I wonder if there's a way to edit Neutron's standby status.blaubär wrote: ↑Fri Sep 02, 2022 3:45 pmThen I suggest you ask in the Samsung forum for S22. As I said, on Android 10 there's the "device maintenance" app. And generally speaking Samsung support exists.andmaythefranchise wrote: ↑Fri Sep 02, 2022 5:21 pmI wonder if there's a way to edit Neutron's standby status.

And as I said, I found the equivalent, but it's grayed out for Neutron player. I was only curious if that meant anything to you.blaubär wrote: ↑Sat Sep 03, 2022 4:28 amAs I said, on Android 10 there's the "device maintenance" app. And generally speaking Samsung support exists.andmaythefranchise wrote: ↑Fri Sep 02, 2022 5:21 pmI wonder if there's a way to edit Neutron's standby status.
