The problem is now solved. I'll briefly write down the solution in case someone is facing this problem again.
Neutron under settings, the item "Media Library". There again, there is a submenu called "Sources". Here you press the settings wheel. In the "Sources" menu, press the "+" at the bottom. After that you do NOT set one of the SD cards directly in the following submenu, but search for the folder (e.g. "Music") via the file system on the SD card. The operating system generates a direct and unique internal link to this folder on the SD card. Access authorization is queried. This new link must be the only path to the library ("Music") in the parent menu. All other links to the SD card must be disabled. Afterwards, when opening the music folder, you will see the set folder as (here) "/Music". NOT as before the whole path to the folder, like: "/storage/03xx-xxxx".

Re: Problem launching Neutron Player in Car
Great news that you have resolved this!
What you have described is part of the SAF file management that Google has implemented in recent versions of Android (A11+?). It is no longer possible to have apps with global access to an entire root folder of any drive, including external cards. You must assign at least one main folder. So in most cases for media players this is often a ../Music/.. folder or something similar. You can still add multiple folders as well from both internal and external storage.
