music cutting out upon switching apps

Post by Hydroponic » Sun Apr 23, 2023 3:17 am

Hello

I have this issue where I am playing music on my phone, and when I open new apps it pauses the music for just a second or 2. It's like Neutron is using too much memory or something.

Like if I am playing music, and I launch yelp, or waze, or facebook, everytime I launch an app the music cuts out for a brief moment.

I have a Samsung Galaxy 10+. I had this problem sometime last year and the devs put out a fix for it. But it has come back.
Thank you

Walter

I suggest you check the energy options for the Neutron app. Make sure it's in the group of apps that won't be set into standby-mode by the os.

Where would the setting be for this on a Samsung S10+ ? Although I'm relatively certain this is not the case.

I believe it is a Hi Res codec crash issue.

I suggest you consult the smartphone's manual, support and forums.

What would lead you to this belief ?
