server access not working

previously i had no issue using the home server as a source to stream my music collection, via the local network

now it appears that trying to enter the address of the music collection on my oneplus 57 (running lineage 20.0 (android 13 patched to 25 april 2023), the address will not take, and there is no way to access my server

a workaround attempting to utilise DLNA resulted in multiple listings of every track on some of the folders only, and none from others

is this an android issue? or some other problem ?

the nas is a qnap ts212p that previously served the files without any problem to this phone, thogh it had been a while since i used it for that purpose, and i am now keen to do so as i have acquired a bluetooth capable dac (topping e70) that the phone can access via ldac, which i would like to use

where to start to fix it? or can't i...

any assistance welcome

new firmware on the server (once) - potentially the issue, but it was a security patch, so that will be unfortunate to roll back

Well ... there's that SAF thing that happened ... not recently, but also not so long ago ... perhaps you uninstall and reinstall the neutron app ?

thanks, but i have reinstalled neutron several times troubleshooting and no different

unless i have a cache file or setting hidden somehow

You probably selected some wrong category of UPnP DLNA server. Try selecting something like - Folders or All Folders or All Songs.
