Transferring to and playing on iOs without iTunes

It is not clear to me what the problem is that you are facing. Are you suggesting that if the screen locks on your device while the Neutron app is playing, that the music stops playing?I have never experienced this in years of using this app.

If there is more info you can share about the exact combination or sequence that leads to this, it will help to confirm if it can be reproduced by others.

The currently playing song ends and the next one does not start. Neutron doesn't even see the next track, it forgets the album being played.

I have never experienced this in years of using this app.

As I said, following your previous post I cannot reproduce the issue. Whether I force lock with the side button, or wait for iOS to time out to lock the screen, Neutron continues to play and follow into the next tracks as expected. I tried with a playlist in shuffle mode, and with a full album with shuffle turned off.

I confirmed this using an iPhone12 with the device playing through the speakers, and also using CarPlay on the road just now. In both cases I let Neutron start the first track, then lock while playing. I did not try using a Bluetooth device or headphones.

Unless you can provide some additional steps that are missing, the problem can’t be found in my case.

Dear @vitreiter, so you bought a new iPhone, and once the screen is switched off it won't play more than one track, that much is clear. Unfortunately nobody else can reproduce the issue. If you can provide links to forum discussions etc with Apple feel free to share them here, as this might be a matter of interest for the Neutron users. Other than that I don't see how other users here could possibly help you. ( and btw a developer won't be able do much without reproducibility either )

I had a look at the original topic, there seems to have been a mix-up, so I moved the posts that referred to this issue here.

Incident again. I have discovered that, if I turn on the lock password, Neutron only sings the same song as before I have not reset the IPhone. I tried disabling the lock password and Neutron played non-stop. Is there a way for me to still lock my iPhone password but Neutron can still play normally? Best regards!

So this guy thinks it might have to do with the lock-password-settings.
