Accessing Neutron settings with FTP client

Hello,
Can someone provide a guide from start to finish on how to do this? I think I did everything right but when accessing using filezilla, installed in the same phone as Neutron, I keep getting "connect timeout, please check ip address and port are correct"
First I created an entry in media library for internal folder. Then in network created one to that folder and a ip address, username and password appears. But when using these settings in filezilla I have that error.

Ok, I know there's not backup/restore for settings... But you have a FAQ that says you can copy an entire folder and done. That's the backup.

Now I've learned that (If I'm not mistaken) I need to delete my Paid PlayStore Neutron, then install a downloadable generic APK, so I can get this folder in my android media, and that's the only way I can copy new themes as well, right?

The directory that the generic version uses differs from the one used by the playstore version, and may even be accessible to the user, yes.

On my Samsung S9 with Android 10, that means without SAF, the directory is located directly below /
