v2.24.2 Will Not Complete SFTP Scan

This is a new issue with these newer versions. I absolutely am not able to complete the SFTP scan. This worked successfully in the past (I am not sure which specific version introduced this bug). My SFTP connection info is all correct, and it starts scanning audio files. It gets to about over 18,000 files scanned then Neutron closes (most likely crashes). When I re-launch the app, I lose my SFTP server name that I edit. It appears as #2 as opposed to my renamed SFTP. I am renaming it again to SFTP. I am now clicking scan again, but I have been doing this for days. This same issue will happen again. I am hoping this gets fixed very soon. I cannot play all of my media.

Since I successfully scanned all SFTP files with the older version, why is an app update causing all data to be lost?

Also note that I granted Neutron Android app unrestricted battery usage. My phone never closes the running app.

I own a Sony Xperia 1 V 5G. This is not the latest Sony, but it's a model from last year. It has sufficient speed, power and memory.

Also note that my SFTP server is a professionally hosted server with guaranteed uptime and bandwidth. It has the fastest Internet connection, and it is located within my own country. The sftp account has read-only access, The account has zero permissions to write, which is the way it should be. I only want to play media and the account has zero permissions to write anything to the server.

I suggest you tell neutronmp@gmail.com, there obviously were changes in the network interface, they might know how to analyze this.

I am going to re-try scanning but this time leave the phone plugged in.

I hate leaving a phone plugged in all the time, because it ends up destroying the battery. I will try this until the scan stops.

My new Samsung Galaxy A25 has an option for maximum battery safety or words to that effect, which when enabled limits the battery to 80% .

All Sony Xperias have had this feature. It limits the charge to 90%, and I always have had it on. Leaving the phone plugged in still results in a swollen battery. Since I have stopped plugging the phone in all the time, my battery have stopped swelling. For my previous phones, the batteries will get so fat they were busting out of the slim case.

It is scanning a lot faster now. I am already at 17,288 files scanned from the SFTP server. I will watch exactly when it fails and on what specific file. I have FLAC command-line installed on the server and will test the FLACs.

Is this simply from keeping the phone on charge? Or did you have to make any other setting changes?
