Btw: more than 24 bit is of no use anyway ( for listening purposes ), also see here.

My thinking was that if the audio is already being processed in the 32bit/64bit space by the app, then why go down to 24 again if the DAC supports 32? Sorry to have opened Pandora's Box!

My point was that imho actually it doesn't matter that much. But sure, if the DAC supports 32 bit then Neutron should deliver that to the DAC.

Got try to a new beta release that corrected the 32 bit output issue

The latest release should have solved the 32-bit Int format issue for Shanling DAPs. But when I activate 64-bit processing, I don't have any sound at all.
I see 32-bit out now, but no sound.
I tried the latest release on my Shanling M3X and the last Neutron release didn't fix this issue.
