can the player ignore the definite article in artists name

Its annoying that groups such as "The Beatles" are listed under T, can this be changed?

This way of sorting is done by iTunes music player. For example users who got used to Foobar2000 music player will find it confusing because 'The' and 'A' are not skipped when sorting names.

iTunes style of names sorting is in to-do list, so once other tasks are completed it will be done too as an option in Database settings.

Thanks. It would be my perfect player if this could be incorporated.

I'd like to vote an ignore articles option as well.

Thanks jennysmate I would never have seen that if you hadn't pointed it out. I was a bit disappointed when I saw the 1.71 update only referred to "A and An", so ignored it. Seeing your post I tried it and hey it does ignore "The" as well, great stuff Dmitry, and thanks jennysmate for the find.
