Sorry if I wasn’t very descriptive.

LG G Pad USB to Nobsound Mini USB input for 6”x9” 200w peak JL audio speakers.

So this is new. In updating to Android 11 they seem to have removed the don't ask again option whenever you plug in any USB DAC that also exposes an input. Anyone know of a way for this to go away?

There is an issue with simultanious outputs from Android AV and direct USB DAC, it would be fine if developer added new option of Standard Out Off when external USB DAC enabled. It's usesful when Neutron Player installed into Car Audio Android with other audio apps like FM, Navi, etc. If user connected external USB DAC he could enjoy only Neutron audio, but lost all other app sound, because audio amplifier connected to external DAC out instead of standard Android AV. Solution could be parallel connection of Android AV out + DAC Out to amplifier.

Is there anyone who tried coupling a multichannel USB DAC with Neutron, like https://www.minidsp.com/products/minids ... dsp-2x4-hd or something similar.

Hi there,

After updated my Samsung S21U to Android 12 Neutron can no longer keep songs playing thru external DAC dongles few minutes after the screen is locked. It requires the screen to be turned on all the time. Not sure if its the same with other phone makes. Hope the developer team can solve this.

It does not depend on Neutron. E.g. OS decides when to suspend USB bus. If it wasn't a problem before fw update then new fw is guilty in the problem. There is also possibility that due to update there is a problem with cache of Neutron, you could try to fix it by:

- uninstall Neutron
- reboot device
- install Neutron

I hope it can help to fix the problem. If not, then Samsung did something wrong in their fw. Updating to Android 12 is not a good idea because you will only get a headache due to enforced Scoped Storage - slow access to files, many apps will stop working due to SAF. Details about SAF: https://www.facebook.com/neutroncode

The FAQs state “ On iOS, normally Apple devices support only 2 frequencies: 44100, 48000 Hz, so you can achieve Bit-Perfect output with these frequencies only.”

Well, it might have been the case in the past but now it doesn’t seem to be the case anymore. I just tested a few 192 kHz files on iPhone 14 Pro Max, 15 Pro Max, both with iOS 17 and using Onkyo HF player with chord mojo 1, all played at 192kHz. Same files played on Neutron are all down sampled to 48kHz…

Can this be addressed?

Thx.

No need to post twice for the same request. If you already have the IOS camera adapter or similar Neutron can pass high resolution audio.
