Adding Android Auto Support.

Post by Krusty_47 » Tue Dec 29, 2015 8:10 pm

This is currently my favorite media player and it has been for a while. I have purchased the pro version. I just got a new car with Android Auto support. I would love to be able to use Neutron player with it. Are their any plans to add this support in the future?

Dmitry, it'd great to see if there's any plan for this. Android auto is starting to really hit cars fast in 2017.

Me too. There are no good apps for playing locally stored music. They are all aimed at streaming.
Thank you.

Just got a 17 honda pilot with Android Auto. This is starting to look like a serious problem. AA doesn't mandate, but basically requires a wired usb connection to avoid severe battery drain. I think everyone uses it with a usb cable. Honda has a specific USB outlet reserved for AA.

Is there any way to use Neutron with AA? It is impossible and dangerous to try going back and forth from AA navigation to Bluetooth Neutron while driving.

Are we really supposed to pick either AA and Neutron?

Created an account just to ask for this. I've used Neutron for a few years now and it's extremely frustrating to switch to an inferior player just to have AA support. Could you please add this functionality?

I came here for this exact reason. AA support would be amazing, please find a way to add it, I love your app!

I also would appreciate if Neutron would support AA as soon as possible.
Are there any plans?
It would be nice if we could get an answer from the developers - even if this means there are no plans to include Neutro to AA.
But any answer would be better than no answer.
