Refresh source and feedback

Can there be better visual feedback for refresh source to show it is scanning? Right now it doesn't seem to detect new music was added. So I click on the Source and then Refresh button. It might turn yellow, but doesn't get all the new music. So have to press it again. It's quite frustrating having to guess when it is done.
