PLAY NEXT function
Re: PLAY NEXT function
Thanks for the work guys.
Regarding new "* New Dynamic/Auto-start Queue behavior: "
Just tried it, and yes it does exactly that,, immediately began playing the enqueued music, and when completed, resumed the original playlist ( from where it exited )
Not quite a " play next " but a good way toward it ..
Regarding other changes ::
( Even thou I don't run with any boost above 0db line in the EQ )
The extra +6db headroom in the EQ has made a massive improvement to the dynamic range.
Thanks Guys

As to the problem what to do when someone asks you to interrupt playing a track list,
I just found an existing feature that might help. After you've granted the wish, interrupted
the list and played the song you can continue where you left off by starting the interrupted
list with the play-button below the track list.

dmitrykos wrote: ↑Tue Nov 06, 2012 8:38 amAfter some considerations there is possibility to implement automatic bookmarking. E.g. there is button in the bottom of each list which is not current which makes list current and start playback. In 1.65 this button allows to continue list playback from the track where playback was stopped. This is now advanced in dev. version (PlayBook 1.65.2 release too) and besides last track the progress of that track is memorized too. It means that when list is stopped changed with another and then set back as current the progress of last track will be restored too.
Moving this thread to the development. And it works ! Belatedly Thanks a Lot !

queue to play next instead of play
Hi folks,
Just a suggestion for an idea for new development.
I will really wish a function to change the behavior of Play to Play Next instead.
Currently, when I hit Play, it will play the select track right away. It is a bit annoying because the current track might not be completed yet.
Will be nice to change the behavior to Play Next. So, when you hit Play, it will wait until the current song has ended then play the selected song as the next song.
Optionally, a double tap on Play can be configured to Play Immediately, vs Play Next.

Re: queue to play next instead of play
Looks like this can be done with Queue configuration. Hence, the ask is to be able to change the behavior of Play to "Add to Queue"
Re: PLAY NEXT function
You mean this proposal ?
No, not that I knew of.blaubär wrote: ↑Mon Aug 12, 2019 2:43 pmSo we would need either a new functionality play-next which optionally either plays a selected track at once or after the currently playing track has finished and then optinonally resumes the previous playlist, album, whatever. Or, if we want to do that using the queue, the queue would have to get further options: "autoplay" would have to get a third value "off/on" -> "off/immediately/next" and a new option "autoresume".

Re: PLAY NEXT function
Excuse me, but how do one get to the QUEUE options screen? I double looked and have no idea on how to get there. Has this been removed? I'm on the latest release.
