When setting these respective values for the UI, Neutron automatically applies a gradient, transitioning from the chosen foreground color to the top color, most evident at the peaks.

Is there any way (or rather I propose) to have Neutron reliably transition from the chosen bottom color to the foreground in a similar fashion?
