iBasso DX240 DAP
iBasso DX240 DAP
Hello,
Please consider adding the newly released iBasso DX240 DAP to the list of supported devices. It uses an ESS Sabre ES9038PRO chip the specifications for which can be found here: https://www.esstech.com/wp-content/uplo ... t-v3.7.pdf
I see that the iBasso DX200 and DX220 are supported but they used the ES9028 series chips.
Thank you for your consideration.
Sincerely,
otta56

+1. I do not understand why there is no proper support.
Player is the best pocketable ghetto blaster out there.
So i'm voting too. Own paid version.

DX240 (PCM 24 - 32-bit, <= 768 kHz), DSD64 - DSD512
^ snagged this from the following link, where an exhaustive list of supported DAPs are found:

Thanks for pointing out.
Despite updating settings menu is a bit different.
I'm missing SETTINGS ► Audio Hardware ► Generic Driver section.

Re: iBasso DX240 DAP
You'll find this to be the case if under Audio Hardware settings, DRV (...) [DAP] <- is shown. Like so:spacedrone808 wrote: ↑Sat Mar 04, 2023 6:47 am

Re: iBasso DX240 DAP
I have just: "LineOut [DAP]"
Re: iBasso DX240 DAP
[DAP] is the only thing important, here. No need to go into generic driver setup because your device has been automatically recognized by Neutron (so it is hidden). Same behavior as my DAP, nothing to worry about
Re: iBasso DX240 DAP
Perhaps this DAP doesn't sport an AudioTrack driver. Well, as long as you can use all the sampling rates etc ... can you ?
