Album with different years

I have several discs with tracks recorded in different years. But Neutron MP shows the maximum of the years for all tracks. For me it's a bug. Do you consider it as a feature?

In my library I've only got a few cases of albums comprised of songs with different year tags. The year shown for the album is not always the maximum. But it's near the maximum. It might also be the last one in track number order. Other than that I don't see an obvious candidate for an algorithm that would yield the actual behaviour as a result.
But what would we expect ? Mean value, median, maximum, minimum, first, last ... ? Or being able to choose from a list of algorithms ?

I have a lot of classical music. In big boxes of classical music (e.g. Bach 333) there are some CDs with historical records, for example CD 175 in Bach 333. The records on this CD are from 1935 to 1964 and I wondered why the sound is so bad in a record of 1964.

You can see the year in the song info :

But of course that's cumbersome. Ok, Let's propose :

We'd like to have options to show the track's year on the Playing-Now-Screen and the Track-List.

Long (!) press on the text field at the bottom of the Playing Now Screen or on a track in the track list.

Ok, I know that. But this gives the year of the last track for all tracks of a CD. I see 1964 for all tracks of CD 175 from Bach 333. But the first 3 tracks have 1935 as year in the metadata of the files.

Yes, I can reproduce this. So this is a bug in the file information. Feel free to contact neutronmp@gmail.com and direct their attention to this.
