In android 10 each time you click on volume control it jumps 7 steps (example: 60 jumps till 67) so the music is either too low or too loud always. WE NEED A SOLUTION INSIDE NEUTRON PLAYER. Android is not going to help us at all…

If you disable "Audio Hardware > Hardware Volume" you get a Neutron specific gain control on the eq screen, the so called "main software volume". It works on the processed audio output before that is delivered to the DAC.

This main software volume works only on screen, using your finger. Need to do it using the hardware buttons on the phone

Those are Android and iOS controlled, so the steps will always be larger than the single ones within Neutron. I don’t know of any other player on either platform that bypasses this.

Suggest that neutron player adds a setting for manage the hardware volume buttons steps. Those are 100 steps, but each time you press volume buttons jumps 7 steps (example: from 60 to 67). Would like to choose how many steps each time you press. Otherwise volume is always either too low, either too loud.
Because of no answer…here I go again

Although I was not able to reply all new posts due to ongoing development of features from the to-do list, which do take a lot of time, your posts will not remain unnoticed. I will follow new posts slowly depending on the development schedule/load.
