High resolution embedded album art

I have many albums with .webp images as album art... it's only the high resolution ones that do not show up except on the notification bar when the UI is minimized

there is something very wrong about the way Neutron for Android handles .webp album art.

the album art for "Dirt" and for "Ember to Inferno" are just garbled noise...
the album art for "Human" is incorrectly showing the album art from "Hatebreed" - this is the most common bug, showing the album art from the entry above it.

I imported the files to my PC. On Windows all album art is show correctly, I cannot reproduce the effect. There are no image files in the directories where you store the music files ?
I'll try Android next.
EDIT: on Android also ok for me, sorry.

I haven't seen any official release where webp format images are supported in most of the traditional audio formats. Some may or may not work for you, but I wouldn't count on this with all players.
