Cracking noise on Nexus 5

Hi!

I hear cracking noise while listening to my music with Neutron. No problems at all when using Google play music. I don't use EQ, I don't boost the gain, I only use: dither, 64 bit resampling.

It's very annoying because it wasn't cracking before and now I can't listen to my music with neutron, which I paid for. Headphones are V-Moda M100. No portable DAC.

Would you please check if Reset Gain is >0 in Neutron UI -> Settings -> Automatic Gain Protection section. If >0 reset it to 0 with slider and confirm.

Yes, I looked at previous threads, did all that and enabled CPU wake lock and it did nothing to help.

If it can help, the same kind of noise appears when I change the volume (sometimes)
